Happy Friday ladies!

Man, what a week! Some interesting things happened, of course. I had to Uber to work on Monday, that was fun. I like pretending that I'm important enough to have someone driving me around. And I got to see Beyonce and Jay Z in concert on Tuesday. I mean, can someone tell me how she dances like that?! I only have those kind of moves in my head... and let's get real, I'm sure they are the super white girl version. I like to think I have a little bit of rhythm, but I definitely second guessed myself after seeing her struttin' it on stage.

I'm sad that I don't have a ton of photos to share (or any at all), but I really tried this time to live in the moment and actually watch most of the concert instead of having videos/photos to look back on. Don't get me wrong, I snapped a few, but they didn't turn out so well and I'm sure they don't do the concert justice anyway. I'm just hoping all the divorce rumors aren't true! Sad day.

Anyway, enough about that. Today I'm sharing Part 2 of styling a basic tee. You can see Part 1 from Monday's post. I wear this style quite a lot. Sometimes I think my maxi dresses hug my butt a little too tight for work (let's be appropriate here), so I usually put a tee over the top to tone it down a bit. It's become a go-to for me. Add a little jewelry and ta-da, a casual, but not too casual look.

What's your favorite way to style a basic tee? Have you tried the maxi/tee trend?

Everyone have a great weekend! I really plan to chill out a bit. And maybe even sleep in.

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. LOVE how you styles this tee (I would wear it like this, too!), and I am really jealous you got to see the Beyonce/Jay Z concert!
