One of my favorites things about styling looks is being able to mix different pieces to create something unexpected.
Back in the day I would have paired this dress with cute wedges or sandals and called it a day. Now don't get me wrong, that would be a cute look as well but something happens in your 20s and you learn exactly who you are... and how you want to express yourself.
For me, it's mixing a girly piece like this dress with a pair of sneakers or even a leather jacket when the cooler months come around. I'm a sucker for those edgy looks. I mean, I'm edgy right?! :)
In all reality, that's what fashion is all about. It's not about keeping up with the next trend, which I also find myself doing, but it's putting together looks that reflect you as a person and at the end of the day, make you feel great!
So whether you're a sporty, preppy, edgy or bohemian girl - wear what makes you happy and don't worry what others think of your look!
