I love owning pieces that I am able to wear in both the summer and transition into Fall. Not that it's really chilly around here, but I'm faking it at the moment and have gone from slowly transitioning to Fall to full on sweaters, booties and flannel. Oh well.

This look is from a few weeks back where we actually had a pretty chilly weekend. I could have gotten away with another layer as well, I may have added tights or something, but I think it works as shown also.

A military inspired jacket is always a fun go-to for me... and plenty of others I feel like. At least once a week at work I'm either matching with another co-worker or they are matching with another of our teammates. What can I say, we love olive jackets! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a light jacket, especially in this color. You can pair it with brights for an unexpected pairing, with jeans and a tee for added interest or over a printed dress how I've styled here.

In other news, I'm happy it's Friday! Chris and I are headed back to our old stomping grounds Saturday for a football game. Can't wait to walk the college campus again.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

  1. Love that printed dress! I have a similar one with a lighter color palette and I dare wearing it year round!
