The weather this past weekend was absolutely incredible. It was the perfect weekend for lunch on the patio. Too bad I had a pretty busy weekend and couldn't push all of my to-dos to the side for a nice day date with live music and maybe a good drink.

I was dreaming about it though!

I did have the back door open, Pandora playing and natural light streaming through. Those three things are the recipe to happiness, I tell ya.

I was a little worried that I wouldn't have any photos to share this week. I had plans all day Saturday and Chris had plans to fish with his dad on Sunday. That's an all day event.

My sister in law's baby shower was Sunday too and in good 'ole Stephanie fashion... I procrastinated. So, Sunday morning I was running errands, making a fruit tray and hittin' up Pinterest for an easy chips and dip recipe. Per usual, all things got done (ahead of time, I might add!) and there was zero stressed involved. Now that is a miracle.

Anyway, back to the point. So my good friend got a camera recently and has asked multiple times if she could shoot photos for the blog. Of course I don't mind at all but was hesitant to ask because I didn't want her to feel obligated. Typical me, over analyzing everything.

Well, she would be at the shower too and the weather was gorgeous so I went for it. She was thrilled and so was I. Yay, photos! We were both a little nervous. Me because I've only ever shot with Chris and can boss him around and her because... well, because taking photos and getting your settings right is a lot of pressure.

We had fun. At least I did. And she already wants me to fire Chris and have her do photos. Chris is ready to jump ship (of course!) but I'm not letting him out that easy.

Now I just have two photographers. Score!

So, did you guys do anything fun this weekend?

    1. Oh no! Bundle up for your blizzard. Hopefully it's there and gone before you realize it. :) Wait, is that even possible for a blizzard? haha. You can tell I'm from Texas.
