Shop the Post!

Hey, friends - it's Wednesday! Woo hoo! With the weather here in Dallas doing crazy things, I felt it was necessary to go ahead and start talking about how to transition your pieces for fall.

I love stocking my closet full of basics that can be layered and styled multiple ways. Maybe it's the bargain shopper in me, or maybe it's just that I like basics. Either way, it makes life simple when you can take a summer piece and continue to wear it in the upcoming months.

Insert this here Piko. First, if you don't own a Piko - uh, you should. They are by far the most comfortable tops and dresses that I've ever owned. The material is so soft and the fabric hangs rather than hugs and girls, that's a big deal!

My mom and aunt are even wearing them now. Yeah!

I'm already overly in love with the color of this Piko dress, but more than that, it will look so great paired with an oversized knit cardigan, these same booties, a blanket scarf - or if you're not a scarf person - a wool hat. I can see it now, can you?!

Another way to style it would be with a pair of tights or leggings, a cool moto jacket and a pair of sneakers. Ahh, bring me fall NOW!

Plus, we all need a nice pop of color in our fall wardrobes. It's easy to fall into a routine of black and earth tones when the weather cools down and all we want to do is cozy up next to a fire. Man, doesn't that sound nice, though?

Anyway, just wanted to share an easy piece to transition to fall. You can check it out here. There's also a nice blue Piko top available as well.

Treat yo' self. It is Wednesday after all.

  2. Thanks so much! It's the easiest look, too. Just throw on a pair of booties and a cute necklace! That's what I love about a good Piko.
