You guys, there is no better thing than a great community. I've had the opportunity to meet up with a few Dallas bloggers two times now, and I can't say enough good things.

We are all a part of Style Collective which is a community for bloggers, Instagrammers, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs - anyone really. Basically, it's a big community of lovely ladies supporting each other, giving feedback, helping, teaching, learning and just being girl bosses!

Before becoming a part of Style Collective I have to say that the blogging world was a bit difficult. It's hard to connect when you don't have a fellow blogger to hang with. When you're doing it on your own, it's difficult to succeed. I've only been a member of Style Collective for a few months now, but I can already see such a difference! I've met so many great ladies - many of which you will also be introduced to, and have been exposed to many opportunities.

At the end of the day, I have others to talk "blogging" with that aren't confused by what I'm saying. Ha! That may seem small, but it's HUGE! And also, I don't feel crazy when I'm out and about taking pictures of my shoes, or my coffee. During our meet-up, there were at least 5 phones out at all times. I loved it! I felt normal for a sec.

But anyway, more on our meet-up. This time around, we decided to get together at White Rock Lake, and we were lucky enough to have a fellow Dallas gal, Megan Weaver take the photos. She is an incredible photographer around the Dallas area and deals with bloggers on the daily. Kudos to her! Do you know how picky we are?

She slayed our photos and was oh-so patient. Plus, I've been dying to work with her and this was the perfect opportunity. Hopefully I'll share more photos with her in the future. I need to get on her books!

Onto the ladies that I shared a great afternoon with. A couple you met from my first SC meet-up, we hung out at the Happiest Hour and you can catch that post here.

Jennifer from Sassy Teacher Chic was one that I met up with the first go round and she joined us for this one as well! She was killin' it in her fall outfit! She always keeps me laughing, and gives the best advice.

Cindy with Foreign Fresh Fierce also joined us and spearheaded our meet-up. She's the lovely lady behind all of the coordination and pretty little details from the photos. Looking for something vibrant and fun to wear? She's your lady!

Nataly from Beautifully Elegant blog. She was rockin' it in her OTK boots and purse that converted to a back-pack. Genius, right?! I had been following her on Instagram before the meet-up, and was so stoked to be able to hang in person. Genuine and kind, and she pretty much has the best smile ever. Just sayin'.

Vanessa from Vanessa in Dallas. Just like her Instagram bio - she's a tall Texican with pretty hair. But really, can I have it?! Always sharing classic and chic looks, and she recently joined me on the 30 train. That's always fun!

Ryan AKA thriftsterchic on Instagram. She's a stand-out in a crowd kinda gal. Spunky and fun, and definitely one to keep you on your toes. She isn't sure about starting a blog yet, but we may have talked her into starting a YouTube channel. Stay on the look-out 'cause she's got some killer style. Until then, catch her on the GRAM.

Kristi from Lulu With Grace was the sweetest, and she had on the most rad outfit! She can rock a pair of wide leg pants like none other. She shared stories of her family, and how she's trying to find her way after her son left for college... well, I think she found it. Blogging is her jam, and she's definitely one to look up to.

Avani from Fashion Beauty Decor. Just like the name she shares daily outfit inspiration, the best in beauty and of course home decor. On top of being a blogger, she's an Interior Designer, wife and mommy. I immediately connected with her being a fellow Interior Designer. And she made me laugh. That's always a good sign.

As you can tell from our photos, we had a blast during our meet-up. If you're a blogger or business owner, or someone looking for great community - check out Style Collective. I promise you won't regret it.

If you're none of the above and Style Collective isn't beneficial to you, check out the ladies I mentioned and give 'em a shout. So many different personalities and styles - we're all in need of a little inspiration!

As always, thanks so much for following along on my journey. My hope is to turn this blog into something more. I want to share my style with you guys, but I want it to be more than that.

Tell me what you like. After all, this blog isn't just for me!

Until next time.
