I'm just gonna warn you, I went overboard on the photos today. But, for good reason. THIS dress. 

This. DRESS. Y'all. 

Please tell me you love it. I don't know what it is, but I am so in love with this dress. I'm typically not a dress kinda gal - I like my jeans, and that's what I stick with. 

During the Black Friday/Cyber Monday craze, I stumbled upon this dress from Boohoo for 60% off, and could not pass it up. I was skeptical, especially when I got it in and first tried it on. I didn't realize it had a tie around the waist - which normally I do not prefer - but it saved me here... and it took the dress from "Eh" to "Yaaassss". 

I've already worn it for work, actually when I traveled and had to dress up. That's when I really fell in love with it. I think I've talked about not liking dress pants much, but if I haven't well I don't like them. They make me feel like a child. More times that not when I travel for work we have to dress up. But they aren't short, easy days, so wearing heels and dresses are NOT an option. 

It was still warm in Texas when I traveled last, so I paired this dress with a pair of flats (I think the OTK boots may be a little sassy for work travel) and I loved it. I felt professional, but still cute... and comfortable for a long day of work. 

Anyway, the weekend after I wore it for work I knew I needed to shoot it for the blog. It was a bit cooler, so I paired it with a chunky knit cardigan (fave!) and OTK boots. Can't say enough how much I like how this look turned out. 

Even better? It can be styled many ways which is good for everyone. The tie around the waist is also appealing, and I think makes it versatile and great for a variety of body types. 

Don't be mad if you see this look on Insta and the blog on repeat. I can't help myself.
