Yep, today I am channeling my inner MC Hammer. haha! I've had these harem pants for a while now (such an impulse buy at a Boutique in my home town) and haven't quite figured out when or how I should wear them.
I've had these pants on multiple times, ready to shoot for the blog, but change at the last second. I could never figure out exactly how to style them. Finally on Saturday, I decided it was time.
You know what I've come to realize since starting this blog? My outfits either come together by completely destroying my closet or when I'm on the verge of falling asleep. Seriously. I will randomly hop out of bed and hurry and pull out clothes to piece together an outfit before I forget what it was. Is this weird? Not sure. It works, so I'm okay with it.
Back to today's outfit. So, I felt the best way to wear these pants (at least for the time being) is to keep it simple. I mean, I didn't want to look like a basket case with harem leopard print pants on, combat boots, a toboggan and tons of jewelry. Ya feel me? Maybe I'm over thinking it. Either way, I feel like it worked. And Chris didn't completely make me feel like a weirdo. He hates these pants. ha! I'm starting to think he didn't marry me for my style. :)
