It's 2014, woo hoo! I had a great 2013 but I'm hoping for an even better 2014. There's nothing better than coming up with New Year's Resolutions and starting fresh. For now I have two NY Resolutions.

1. Hit the gym. Seriously. Chris and I have never actually set this as a NY resolution, but this year we decided to hop on the bandwagon. We'll see how it goes!
2. Buy a house. Eek! It's exciting but stressful at the same time. Um, hello adult life.

What do you guys have planned for this year? While you're thinking about it, we'll move on to today's post. So, since it's a new year I decided to share an outfit that is a little bit different than what I typically wear. I had fun pulling this together and actually felt kinda cool, especially walking around Deep Ellum in this outfit. I think it SCREAMS Deep Ellum. :) Hopefully I don't scare you off, but instead inspire you to sometimes throw your jeans to the side and put something a little more funky together.

Are y'all surprised to hear that Chris really wasn't feelin' this outfit?! Well, he wasn't. He didn't even want to leave Deep Ellum with me dressed like that. What the heck?! Ha! Gotta love him.

Thanks for reading. XO

  5. I'm not that big into rompers, but for some reason I love this outfit. I think it is the way that you paired it with a blue jean jacked, a beanie and converses. Which totally gives it a different look than what you normally see!

    1. Well thanks! I'm so used to seeing them worn only one way really, so I decided to throw something different together. I'm kind of surprised by the great response I got on it. :) Glad everyone is liking it though! :)
