Happy Friday ladies! Question, am I the last person to jump on the pleather leggings bandwagon?! Let's be honest here, I was a little uncomfortable when I first left the loft to take these photos. Part of it could have been because it was 10:00 in the morning and I was walking around in wedges and pleather leggings (ha!)...

Now, I know I said I was a bit uncomfortable when I first left the house, but after I was out and about for little while, I really started to like them. They are super comfortable and loud and I think they would be perfect for a sassy night out on the town. I could definitely see myself wearing these on a date night with the hubs or even a girl's night! So girls... let's do a girls night!

And I'm not sure if I've officially raved about this statement necklace from Rio Ritz either. I posted it a while back as part of my New Year's Eve outfit but I didn't really indicate how much I love it. Well, I LOVE it. You can wear this piece with so much. I literally wore it with a camo hat, leopard print shoes and boyfriend jeans the other day. Super casual and it still worked.

All of the pieces from today's outfit are really versatile. You can do so much with all of these pieces. Put on a pair of heels and a blazer with the gray tee and you have yourself a business casual look. Put on the pleather leggings, combat boots and cute tank and you're rockin' out. I'm telling you, basic pieces can go a long way. If you're unsure, buy a basic piece and mix it with one funky piece and you'll be surprised of the outcome. Take a chance, your style is your style! :)

On a side note, my niece Madi (featured HERE) is trying out for Middle School cheerleader tonight! Really?! Where did the time go? It makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. I mean, didn't I just try out for high school cheerleader. Ha! Man how time flies. Anyway, I'm sure she'll do great and I'll definitely keep you posted on the results.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Until next time...

  3. I live how you paired more casual elements like a messy bun and the military-inspired jacket with the leggings -- perfect way to keep 'em classy and cute!
