I'm trying to slowly transition to Fall, you know, since that's what Texas does. I want for it to be cool (not cold) so bad, but it's just not happening right now.

I couldn't keep myself from pulling out my fall booties any longer and Sunday that's exactly what happened.

I decided if I was pulling out booties when it's 80 degrees out I needed to offset them with something that keeps the legs a little more bare. What better than a casual pencil skirt that's been hiding in my closet?!

Top: Plato's Closet (old), similar HERE
Skirt: Etsy - Inspired by Tess
Belt: Target
Watch: Michael Kors (old), also cute HERE and HERE
Booties: Cotton On (old)
Lipstick: Revlon Shameless

Shop the Post!

I loved mixing the print of the skirt with the leopard belt and keeping the look casual with the chambray top and flat booties. I didn't want it to be too casual though, so I added a fun pop with the purple lip.

Can we talk about the purple lip for a moment? It was a little bold for Chris, he couldn't really handle it when we went to dinner, but he's a guy. Seriously girls, if you're looking for this seasons lip color, this is it! And it's inexpensive. Gotta love those drugstore dups of more expensive products. I've linked the exact brand and shade above.

Go bold or go home!

Happy Wednesday, y'all. Thanks for reading!

I was a little stand-off (ish) at first, but once i put it on I knew it would be my go-to this Fall!
