Do you ever have those days where you wake up early with plans to be super productive and maybe, just maybe you woke up on the wrong side of the bed?

Yesterday was one of those and I'm admitting that I was just a tad bit cranky.

Chris and I decided Saturday night that we would wake up early, shoot a few things for the blog and then spend the afternoon watching football. I don't actually watch football - I typically do laundry, browse online with the occasional logging in to my ESPN to see how I'm holding up against my co-workers (or boss for this week) in my Fantasy League.

Well it didn't quite happen that way. Does it ever? It seems my weekends never go as planned - hence the blog posts here and here. Hmm.

I did wake up early in a fairly good mood, minus this damn headache that won't go away. Day 5 y'all. Day 5 of this damn headache and I can't even handle it.

Anyway.

Outfits were planned, make-up looking decent and then onto the hair. ha! I was having the worst hair day in the history of ever. For real. It wouldn't curl for whatever reason. I attempted to leave it down but was already over it - that definitely didn't help the situation.

And then the photos weren't looking great either. Awesome. We couldn't get the lighting right at the first shoot location and started getting irritated with each other. That's never a good thing. Poor Chris.

That's when we decided to just go home, but not before a stop at Starbucks. All it takes is a little Starbucks (Pumpkin Spice Latte, holla!) and a car ride to put you back in a good mood.

Chris being the super laid-back, chill guy that he is decided that we should attempt photos one more time. Brave man I tell ya. So we headed to our comfort zone, Deep Ellum, threw the hair in a top knot (typical) and snapped some decent photos. Yay, improvement!

But then we headed home with two outfits still in the car. Oh well. We got one... that counts right?

Who said this blogging thing was easy?

Here's to a productive and great week. Happy Monday y'all!
