I'm back! Last week I slacked on the blog, obviously - but I'm back now. The rain here in Dallas has been no joke and definitely put a damper on shooting photos for the blog. Cute umbrella or not, my hair would have been looking a hot mess.

So, instead of sharing that craziness on here I decided to just wait for the weather to clear up. Yay to having a full time job and blogging. #thestruggleisreal

It actually wasn't raining during the week but I left on Wednesday for San Diego so there just wasn't enough time.

Anyway - the weather yesterday was actually quite nice. It was a bit warmer than what I was expecting which worked out perfectly! I've had this midi dress for a while now and couldn't decide how or when I wanted to wear it. With the weather cool but not too cold, it was great for wearing with a blanket scarf while leaving the legs bare.

I actually ended up liking this midi dress a little more than I expected. The only thing I hesitated on is the fact that it's more sheer than what I would like. I wore a slip and it turned out. A longer cami would work well also. If you don't want something under the dress, a long boyfriend cardigan would pair nicely too.

After I had this on I decided it would also be good for a holiday look. It's a bit more dressy than a pair of jeans but equally if not more comfortable. The buffalo plaid keeps it's festive too or you could opt for a more sequined or gold-ish toned scarf to really scream Christmas!

Speaking of sequin/gold-ish tones, I have another look perfect for Christmas coming later this week. Just think stretchy and festive.

How do you guys feel about midi dresses? Hard to pull off or a staple in your closet?
