Happy Wednesday ladies! I'm packing up and getting ready to head to good ole Houston. Work travel has been non-stop lately. I have a busy two days ahead of me but I'm stoked that I have a travel partner this time. Can't wait to have another girl to hang with!

I also can't wait for the weekend. I don't have too much going on and that's just how I like it.

I do have a sushi date with my niece on Saturday... that's when you know you're getting old. When your niece texts to "hang out" and the dates consists of sushi and conversation rather than junk food and cartoons. I kinda love it.

She hasn't joined me on the blog in a while. Maybe we'll take care of that too.

Today's look is one that I had planned for our work holiday party a couple of weeks ago. I ended up not going to the holiday party, I packed my bags for the night and headed to the hospital to hang with Cassidy. Although it was difficult circumstances, we had a great time just hanging out and chatting and doing blog stuff.

With that, I couldn't let this outfit go to waste so here it is featured on the blog. I've styled this wrap with jeans here and also these booties multiple times, one of my favorites being paired with the military jacket and turtleneck

My main goal is to make the most of my closet. Pieces that can be paired multiple ways are perfect in my book.

I'm pretty much saying that you'll see these exact pieces probably ten more times on the blog... but in a subtle way. That was subtle, right?!

Anyway, hope y'all are having a great week. Can't wait for the weekend!

Until next time.

  1. I love this look. I'm back in the hospital right now. Hopefully I'll go home tomorrow or the next day. But I need to plan a day where maybe you can snap a few good photos of me for the redesign of my blog. I thought we could kind of make the day of it. I need to get my hair done first though!

  2. Thanks! I can't believe you're back in... So sorry! And yes, I would love that! We can go around some places and get some different shots. Did you decide on a color palette?! Just let me know when you're ready and I'm be there.
