When it's the weekend you can't catch me in anything other than comfy clothes. Unless there's a special event.. but even then, I'm probably going to find the most dressed up, comfortable I can. ha!

I wish I was one of those girls that wore heels everyday or always wanted to wear dresses but really... I'm not. I'm more of a jean-kinda girl and definitely a lover of a comfy pair of kicks.

If I'm wearing a dress or a tunic it's usually paired pretty casual like today's look.

I'm also becoming more and more of a hat person. It's perfect for those dirty hair or bad hair days. And it's always good for the days that you don't feel like putting on make-up.

I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing this hat all Summer. Can't wait to be at the lake or camping with my ball cap, sneakers and comfy clothes. Now that is my happy place.

Another piece from this post that I would highly recommend is the Piko dress. Piko's in general or so comfortable and versatile. They are great for all body types and I just can't get enough. It's easy to dress them up or down - here and here. I think Pikos are definitely one of the brands that you will see around for a while.

I instantly knew that I wanted to pair mine in today's look. Something about tying it up in a knot and throwing on a pair of converse that just did the trick.

Anyway, it was a crazy busy weekend and the week will be the same! Chris and I will be welcoming our new nephew into the world today! Can't wait to meet him.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I used to wear heels all the time, now I'm way more comfortable pairing a dress with my ankle boots! I also just bought a dress similar to this, and have shoes and a jacket similar, so......TWINS!
