Do you know what I should really be doing right now? Studying. I should be studying for this very important, very expensive certification test. My Interior Design, state of Texas certification test.

Instead, I'm editing blog photos, checking out what my other fellow bloggers posted today, straight chillen' in my PJs waiting on the Victoria Secret Fashion Show to start. Why is studying so hard? I can't, just can NOT get myself motivated. I wasn't motivated in college and I'm still not motivated now. I seriously thought that school/studying would get easier as I got older. Nope. I was wrong.

If anyone has any tips/tricks, please share. I'm in need.

In other news, let's get back to blogging. ha!

Chambray: Plato's Closet (old), similar HERE
Jeans: H&M
Wedges: Steve Madden (old), similar HERE
Purse: Michael Kors (darker color HERE)
Necklace: Riff Raff

When I originally thought about this outfit I wanted it exactly how it is now, only with an over-sized cardigan and combat boots. The combat boots quickly got tossed. I'm not loving my black ones near as much as my brown ones. They never look quite right. And the over-sized cardigan. Well, it was near 70, if not 70 that day, so another layer just wasn't cutting it. Come on Texas, get with it! It is freaking December.

Instead, I decided to keep it simple and go for a less edgy look and more... preppy? Is that the right word? I don't know. I did preppy in high school, but I'd like to think I'm a little more on the edgy side these days. Either way, I think the look turned out and it's pretty simple to re-create. All basic pieces just layered together.

What's your go to style?
