What a fun and busy weekend I had. I celebrated both my brother and cousins birthdays with dinner on Friday and Saturday and had brunch with a college friend on Sunday.
I also opted out on studying all day Saturday, instead meeting up with my best friend and daughter Ava - hanging out in the Chick-Fil-A play area. Man how our lives have changed.
I love being able to spend the weekend with friends and family; laughing so hard I'm almost crying. Those are the best days.
I figured I needed to get all of my friend and family time in this past weekend, because let's get real, I have to give up my social life in order to pass my test. Now that's reality.
So about today's outfit post. I don't know about you, but I never fully jumped on the crop top trend. I mean, I may have worn one or two in my day, but I'm just not exactly comfortable in them and I feel quite a few girls can relate.
Instead I pair mine with an undershirt, jacket, accessories, whatever it may be, to create an entirely different look and feel. Most of the time it's a chill, laid-back look, but hey - that's just me. You can see a few others ways I've styled mine HERE and HERE.
I guess what I'm trying say is, don't be afraid to buy a crop top. Just because you have one doesn't mean you have to bare your skin. Get creative with it!
Happy Monday y'all!
