I was so excited on Saturday when we had a break from the rain so I threw a basic look together and snapped some photos.
I'm in love with this look for so many different reasons. One, it's basics. Two, this plain white tee. And three, my new obsession with this wood watch. A wood watch!
I received it in the mail last week and could hardly contain my excitement. It's from JORD and it's absolutely stunning. I was impressed when I tried it on because of how light weight it is and I'm conflicted when I say that it may be replacing my go-to Michael Kors leather watch. If you know me at all, this is a big deal!
JORD is successful in creating sustainable, simple yet chic watches. It paired perfectly with my basics look for today but I'm also excited to dress it up and show just how versatile it is. I'm wearing the Ely in Maple, but some of my other favorites include: Sidney in Rose Gold (yes!) and Cora in Zebrawood and Turquoise. How awesome are these?
You should definitely check out their site and keep them in mind for your next watch or a gift for that special guy in your life. I'm pretty sure that Chris wants one after receiving mine. In my opinion, the Ely in Maple is the perfect summer watch and I'm pretty sure I'll be rockin' it on a weekly basis.

I love this basic look! I have been into wearing stuff like this, too. It just seems so simple and chic and EASY this time of year. Oh, and that watch! Love;)
ReplyDeleteBasics are my favorite.. I just can't get enough. Sometimes I think I should really put more effort into getting ready, but basics are forever, not just trendy. :) At least that's what I'm telling myself.
