Happy Monday! This weekend I was feeling a little under the weather so I decided to keep it pretty casual. I attempted to go to the Jason Aldean concert on Saturday (not my best idea) and wanted to be comfortable, cute and warm.

I pulled out some of my oldies, but favorites. The shirt, shoes and vest are all pieces from last fall, but I love them! This vest makes me feel so cool, I know, kinda dorky but it's true! And I'm a sucker for mustard yellow. It just screams fall weather. I just wish Texas had all of the fall colors. Instead, we have dead trees and bare limbs. FUN. And these shoes, the studded toe is my favorite part. :)

Anyway, so back to the Jason Aldean concert. I started feeling really bad on Thursday after my trip to California (I'm sure the plane ride and long hours didn't help), so I've been taking NyQuil religiously, but it hasn't helped too much. If you know me, you know it's very hard for me to stay home on the sofa all day. Come Saturday, I was bored out of my mind and talked myself into getting dressed and heading to the concert (even though my mom told me to STAY HOME). I'm also very hard headed.

I was so proud of myself that I felt decent and was hanging with my friends, drinking water of course and actually not feeling like I was in a daze. So we head inside to the concert, snag a great spot on the lawn, get food and shirts and watch the opener. After the opening act finishes up, we decided to take care of any business during the break and well, the sickness hits me full force... and I mean full force! It was awful. I had to call Chris to come pick me up... that's how bad it was. So, after getting dressed, hanging out hours before the concert started and even surviving the beginning of the show, I had to leave before Jason Aldean came on stage. Pitiful, I know. I should have just listened.

I guess it really wasn't so bad though, because the concert was cancelled shortly after due to the rain and Jason Aldean didn't perform anyway. Even though I was sad to leave, I am glad that I wasn't stuck on the lawn in the rain. Could you imagine?! Anyway, enough about me. Hope you guys have a great week!

Signing... Steph
