I'm hoping that by sharing this blog post Fall shows up sooner than expected here in Dallas. I heard it's supposed to be a little cooler this weekend. And by cooler I mean mid 80s.. yay!

It's no surprise that I've been dreaming of Fall for quite some time now. It's my favorite time of the year. The cooler weather, the holidays, family time, pumpkin spice lattes and all the other goodness wrapped up in those few months. I. love. it.

So, what better way to kick off the countdown to all things Fall than by sharing my top 5 Fall Essentials?! This year I am loving tall suede boots, oxblood colored purses (or anything oxblood colored for that matter), a simple yet chic hat (for those bad hair days) and of course a chunky knit sweater. Ah! So much to be happy about! I can hardly stand it.

Fall Essentials

And you know what else comes with Fall? The holidays. And what comes with the holidays? Gift giving. Well, I've got something that may help you out a bit in that department.

I recently learned about Raise. Raise is an incredible site where you can purchase gift cards to your favorite retailers - I'm talking Target, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Marshall's, H&M... and the list goes on - at a discounted price. Seriously, who doesn't love a good discount?! Here's one for ya. Y'all know how much I love Marshall's (seriously I'm there almost every weekend). Well, Marshall's gift cards are offered up to 18% off. And shipping is free. Holla!

Keep reading, it gets better. Raise also makes it possible to sell gift cards as well. So, if you have any lying around that you don't plan on using... sell those bad boys!

Whether you're stocking up on your top 5 Fall Essentials or preparing for the upcoming holidays, check out raise.com, you may be able to add a few more items to your cart. :) Y'all can thank me later!

Until next time...

  1. It's like you wrote this post for me! I'm am so ready for Fall and I just keeping saying that over and over hoping it will make Fall arrive sooner. It's supposed to be in the 90's here. Ugh! But at least here in Northern CA, we don't have the humidity that Texas has. I don't know how you do it!
