Well, even as an adult, I found myself half wishing on Friday when I opened a fun little package from Warby Parker that I needed the glasses that were in the box.
Let's back up. Last week I ordered a Home Try-On kit from Warby Parker. Have you guys heard of this? Basically, you go online, pick 5 pairs of frames that you like, add them to your cart and wait for them to get shipped to your house, for free. Once they are delivered you have 5 days to try them on, get your friends opinions, take photos, whatever you want and then ship them back, again for free.
Another perk. If you don't like the first 5 pair you ordered you can order another 5 until you find the ones that you absolutely love (all free of charge). If that's not enough goodness here's some more for ya. This part really helped me out. In addition to the Home Try-On Kit, they also have a Virtual Try-On. It never fails, I can find a great pair of glasses, think they will look fabulous and then actually put them on and they are HUGE. I hate that. Well, to much of my surprise, that didn't happen this time... and I'm betting it's because of the Virtual Try-On. Loved it!
Now, a little more about this company that I absolutely love and then I'll share what glasses I chose for my kit. For every pair of glasses that you purchase a pair is given to someone in need. How's that for a good deed?! I love companies that give back to the community. Kudos Warby Parker! I now love you even more.
If you're interested, below are the pairs that I chose for my kit and how they looked. I really, really liked the first pair of specs... can I get them just because?! And if you can't tell, Chris and I could hardly take head shots seriously... sorry!
So, who's ordering their Home Try-On Kit today?! It's so much fun, I promise.
Y'all have a great week! Thanks for reading.
