How much more girly and summery can this look get?! Well, a little more girly if I would have paired it with wedges, but can it say Summer any more than it already does?!
The lightweight fabric, the ruffles, color and floral pattern - just Summer.
It's much more of a girly look than I typically wear and I'm kinda diggin' it. It might be my favorite outfit from this Summer. Wait... did that just happen?
Okay, not sure that's entirely true, but now that I've worn it Summer can officially end. It's so freaking hot. Anyone else dying for Fall? Sweaters, boots, scarves and beanies. Ahh, hurry up!
Although this top is the definition of Summer, I feel like it could easily transition into the beginning months of Fall as well. It's great for those of us who have a more casual work atmosphere as well as a business dress code.
If I were to pair it for casual work I would opt for dark denim, a cognac belt and booties and a khaki coat. For a more dressed up environment, I would pair with navy slacks and coat with tan booties and/or flats.
I'll try to keep it in mind for pairing when Fall rolls around as well. I'm all about styling the same pieces you have multiple ways. After all, who the heck can afford to not wear the same thing more than a few times?!
If there's something you'd like to see transition from day to night or weekend to work, just let me know! I'm up for the challenge and would love to share my thoughts on styling it.
As always the weekend passed without me even realizing it. I did get to witness a wonderful marriage and had some quality time with family. Can't get much better than that!
Hope y'all had a fabulous weekend too! Happy Monday.
